Loon Scribe is in Ecuador until next June! Writing will have to take a backseat. But reading sure as hell won´t!
  • Are you a ...?
    Unpublished writer (so far)
    Are your reading habits ...?
And your seven all time favourite books? (You can change these at any time, by the way ...)
The Iliad, The Odyssey, The Aeneid, Paradise Lost, The Case of Exploding Mangoes, Good Omens.
What are your working habits when you write?
Are you the edit-every-sentence-ten-times type, or do you prefer to let rip?
Prefer to let rip and edit afterwards
    Your ultimate writing ambition?
Live to see one of my novels published.
    Your worst habit?
Staying up very late while tea enabled and just letting my subconscious vomit onto the page for two more hours because I´m too stubborn to quit even though I know it will be awful to read and edit the next day.
Your opinion on the books industry?
Too much celebrity and hype, but good books still get through
    Where do you write?
Geographically? Anywhere, with anything on any available surface.
What else do you want Word Clouders to know? eg: do you have 9 cats / like paragliding / eat nothing but tinned fish / work in the bath / live in Kettering?
Long and short of it: I'm mad and know lots of weird and wonderful facts about lots of things.

I am currently in Ecuador on my GAP year, I´m hoping it will inspire me and restore my creative juices, which were sadly sapped due to exams.
I shan´t be able to upload until June, but I will certainly try to get to a computor as often as possible to check out people´s blogs and messages.

Best wishes,

The Loon Scribe.

Hi! Loved seeing the Iliad and Odyssey up on someones favs for once. I've always wanted to travel South and Central American so I'm really jealous of your trip. I had a friend once from Guatamala.
Anyway just thought I'd say hi.

Yeah, sad in a way and happy in many others... I'm moving to the UK, thus the reason I can't bring them with me.. They'll get good homes.. and be happy. Perhaps one day, if I leave the UK and enter the USA and can get them or at least one or two back - I'll import them over... will see what the future holds... Enjoy your holiday with your friends...

Hiya hun, thanks for that, sadly I have to leave them behind and trying to find good homes for them...

I hope for your sake that SA is ready by 2010 - with all the strikes on the go currently.... I have to wonder, they are already behind schedule... Are you really certain you'd want to come to SA for the 2010 Football - it may not be pretty, a real hot spot for crime....

Hi ya, Seshat of Thoth, just found my way onto this part of the site, can I ask do you get automatic/channelled writing from Thoth, as I have been receiving volumes over the years, I am at the moment staying not far from you in Warminster and Thoth has been dictating to me these seven books, the first of which he wants to be published as a young adults? series, I am ever so excited as they have local history linked to the UFOs at Warminster.

LOL - yes, you had no choice in the matter, hey? Well the Karoo is as safe as you can get. SA has changed some what and sadly is not the safest place nowadays... Wonder what's going to happen for the World Cup... SA will become a hot spot..
